A little bit about my beginnings
I started out as a graphic designer by creating artwork for clubnights that I began running when I was 17. I went on to study multimedia & web development for a year in Cavan Institute where I got a work placement in a small web design studio called Flo Web Design. I spent 3 years here learning how to design and develop websites, applications and social media campaigns for clients like Iceland, Killeen Castle, X-tra Vision and many more.
After 3 years in Flo Web, I moved on to a digital agency called Ebow for a contract role and worked on some big projects with GAA, Disney, Maxol, Orange and DNA.
Later that year I started a new role as a sole UI designer within Intel Education. I lead the design for the department on some large scale products which include websites, web apps and native apps. I also assist in front-end development and QA when needed.
I then spent over a year working in IBM Watson Health and designed healthcare, child welfare and social program applications. The IBM design process has become well known for adopting Design Thinking in a corporate environment.
